For the past four years at Dynatrace, I've been the dedicated technical lead on a variety of enterprise and federal accounts, including Amgen, the U.S. Social Security Administration, and Zurich Insurance, driving delivery, partnering closely with clients, and building and deploying solutions to meet their needs.
I live in Salem, Oregon and work as Software Consultant at Dynatrace. I develop, deploy, and optimize software solutions that give customers deeper visibility into their cloud environments and applications.
I enjoy building things that outlast a single project — reusable internal apps, automation that removes manual and repetitive work, and solutions that make the next problem easier or eliminate it entirely. I like working through challenging technical problems and spend time on my own continuing to learn.
When I'm not working, I'm usually hiking somewhere in the Pacific Northwest or tending to my plant collection. I love Oregon but am open to relocating elsewhere on the West Coast if the right opportunity comes up.
A Dynatrace AppEngine app for creating and managing maintenance windows at scale, extending product functionality with bulk operations and tagging workarounds to reliably suppress alerting on correlated entities. Built at a customer’s request and now used across multiple clients.
A Dynatrace AppEngine app that compiles capacity and utilization reports across an environment for disk auditing, compute right-sizing, Kubernetes density, and scaling limits, helping teams identify where headroom exists and where it doesn’t. Currently in development for use across current and future clients.
A full-stack remote job board built from scratch, featuring user accounts, saved postings, and company pages. Listings are pulled from the Remotive API, and users can securely log in and save listings using a Firestore backend accessed over REST. Developed as my senior software project at EMU.
A 2D arcade game built in Java using Swing with a classmate at Eastern Michigan University. Play as Santa, dodging obstacles to deliver as many presents as possible before the night ends while chasing a high score. A fun project that focused on core game mechanics and responsive input handling
